Welcome to the information page for the “Free XC Skiing Clinic”.
This a “FREE” cross country xc skiing clinic to assist you in getting more enjoyment out of your recreational skiing.
Who should take this lesson?
If you just walk or shuffle on your skis. If you can’t glide on your skis. Even on machine set tracks. If you are afraid of hills…either going up or down. And if you want to improve your xc skiing experience.
If you are already a capable xc skier, this course will be of no value to you. Please investigate the available lessons offered by the St. Albert Nordic Ski Club.
*Must be age 13+, and have own cross country ski equipment.
Instructors
All instructors are CANSI professionally trained (Canadian Association of Nordic Ski Instructors). Instructors will assist you in adjusting your ski technique in order that you ski more efficiently. They are not coaches interested in developing your heart, lungs and muscles. They are interested in assisting you to develop your balance, timing and coordination.
